A tribute to the photos that got rejected - here is the first of three that appeared in my piece a"Muse" bouche. Inspiration that can be consumed in a single bite is one way to describe Jenna, a musician full of passion and smiles all at once.
A composer who works in the medium of electronic music, Jenna showing love to a giant speaker is somehow appropriate. I wanted to call this photo "I sing the body electric" originally.
As you can see, this Eiffel Tower is located right down the street from Caesar's Palace - what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, except for this photo. Au revoir!
I don't know how else to describe the branches of this tree - they are frosted with sunlight. This is an image of a place I pass by daily. On this particular day, there was a "certain slant of light."
Last night when I ran out (during American Idol no less) to pick up some supplies for my design project, the twilight was breathtaking. I attempted to capture it with my camera, but the nuances and delicate branches don't read as well as I would like. It's still a photo that I'm very fond of. I love the little star peeking out in the upper left hand corner.
Lately I've become obsessed with photography and design and am foraying into both, so this is my very first 'photo of the day.' Today's photo is some crocuses I saw before the dress rehearsal for Cantores Cleveland's upcoming April 3 performance. Spring has sprung in Cleveland.
